Inspired by World War II motorcycles, Easy captures history with its retro frame and iconic sidecar. Our goal was to craft a machine that would turn your commutes into inspiring moments.

Meet our iconic sidecar. Designed specifically for the MOD Easy, the sidecar offers a payload capacity of 150 lbs - so you can transport your extra cargo, little kids or even your furry friends.     Love this bike almost as much as the people watching us go by!

    Easy to put together (I’d say a leisurely 1.5-2 hours with sidecar. In 6’, 215 pounds and am disabled to the point where I am unable to pedal a bike. Therefore, I use this with full assist all the time. Our terrain is relatively flat here in coastal North Carolina. My dog is about 40 pounds and growing

    With the above being said, bike rides wonderfully, super comfortable and is responsive. Like many have noted, it does require some practice for right turns

    We’ve run three complete battery cycles and I’d say average about 20 miles per charge - again FULL ASSIST full time

    Wherever we go, someone asks, comments or wants to buy our ape hanger!!! Love, love, love

    Thanks for giving me a little part of normalcy back in my life

    Couldn’t love it more!

    Start off with some stats:

    1’m about 225 pounds, 5’11” and 51 years old. I have a disability that prevents me from actually pedaling any bike, so I use electric bikes as a moped more or less

    I have another e-bike but that did not allow for me to bring my trusty sidekick with me on rides. I searched trailers, trikes, etc. and nothing truly peaked my interest like the Ape Hanger! Cool paint job, awesome handlebars and decent range/power!

    Now it was pricey, BUT there are few competitors out there for this type of ride, and even fewer comparable ones! We spent the money and never looked back. Did take me about 2-3 hours from unboxing until riding, but I am meticulous and take my time.

    My puppy weighs almost 40 pounds and he was in the sidecar for the entire 24 miles (a few trips) until we got to the last bar of charge. Not bad at all, although we are in a relatively flat, coastal area. Combined weight probably around 270 and I feel as though we could have easily gone 30 miles+. Keeping in mind again, I use NO pedal assist and both of us were on the bike the full ride.

    Since then, I have taken the sidecar off to test some speeds. Comfortably, low 20’s (bike, my 225 pounds)and flat open road and hit 26 MPH at one point

    Right turns are a little tricky at first and it does take a few miles to get used to. Given everything I know now, I would spend the money on this bike again

    Early review of course, but I don’t foresee any issues at this time. Hope this helps, best of…

    I got the perfect birthday gift from Modbikes,

    and Mod Easy Sidecar is just awesome.

    Assembling the bike for myself was also very fun.

    Enjoying the ride with my dog every weekend,

    now we can travel the local deeper and further with these wheels.
