My wife and I both bought the Blacks and absolutely love them. We take them on a coffee run several mornings a week, and hit the trails on the weekends. It truly has a 60 mile range, I made it 57 on one ride with some power to spare. It has plowed up steep hills with full assist, and I hit 35 MPH on the downhill side. The basket rack is great for grocery runs. The price was a real value as well when I look at the competition. I added a rear view mirror and a brighter red rear light. Other than that they are perfect
Got my bike a month or so ago and has been a perfect fit for me and so glad I bought from and supporting a local company (after trying a non-local online company!). I'm coming off a tailbone injury and some very achy knee and ankle joints, so riding is less about building strength and more about just getting out and keeping things moving if you know what I mean. And the Black is such a nice ride while still making me work a little (or as much as I want to on a given day). Mike and Jessica at Mod where a pleasure to deal with as well.
