My wife and I are the parents of a daughter with disabilities. When we stumbled upon the Mod 3 Easy with sidecar, we thought this may be a way to be able to take our daughter on bike rides with us. This was an underestimation! We purchased one just over a year ago and it was a hit with our daughter and we could all ride together now. We ran into a problem within 80 miles into the bike and the bike was having some major issues with the back wheel. Mod had us take it to a bike shop and even sent a new back wheel and sidecar wheel. Unfortunately every attempt to diagnose the problem failed.
I finally got a personal call from Dor their CEO. He said they would send me a whole new bike which was what wanted as we loved the concept of the bike and was a big hit with our daughter. He not on,y sent me the new bike and sidecar, but also included a new accessory which was a windshield for the side car which was a game changer also for our daughter to keep bugs out of her face and added a really cool look to the bike. We are now 600 miles into the new bike, my daughter who is non verbal signs to go bike riding every day. She loves the feeling of freedom it gives her to be included and the experience of riding the bike paths. She fist bumps me repeatedly during our rides. That is her sign of approval. It has brought a major change to her life and excitement. Mine also as this bike is so much fun to ride and you can challenge yourself to improve your strength in your legs by doing more of the work yourself and not relying on the motor as much.
There is a niche out there in your marketing for kids with disabilities. If I can ever assist with that, let me know.. We get all kinds of head turns when we are on the road riding as people are amazed at the concept and how cool it is. Not a ride goes by without someone doing a double take and hollering out how awesome that bike is. I am so thankful the new bike has worked out and wanted you all to express our gratitude for the freedom it has opened up for our daughter and the quality of the bike and sidecar.. We ride about 10 miles everyday.
This company stood behind their product and made the situation with the first bike right by sending us a new one. That has made me a huge promoter of their product and it has been a blast since! Thank you for doing the right thing by replacing the first bike and the CEO Dor personally handling the problem himself. That is customer service and creates a loyal customer.. we will probably be getting one of the fold up e-bikes for my wife soon as she loves the concept and we now know the quality of the product that MOD bikes produces. No buyers remorse here but plenty of memorable experiences with the bike and sidecar1. One tidbit to add to anyone that gets the sidecar windshield, use some blue thread lock on the fasteners to prevent vibration from loosening them and falling off. No issues since doing this.
Ride on!
