Austin: Austin Energy Customers are eligible for up to a $1,300 rebate for the purchase of an E-bike. Applications must be submitted within 60 days of purchase. Applicants are also eligible for a $800 Fleet Rebate if purchasing between five and twenty five E-bikes. Apply Here
California Statewide: The California Air Resources Board offers the California E-Bike Incentive Project, which provides vouchers of $1,750–$2,000 to income-qualified residents (≤300% FPL). Priority applicants (≤225% FPL or disadvantaged communities) qualify for the highest incentives. The program operates in limited application windows and funding cycles, with future funding expected but not continuously open. Apply Here
Alameda: Alameda Municipal Power customers can receive a $300 rebate on e-bikes purchased online or in-store. Alameda Municipal Power customers who are enrolled in the Energy Assistance Program qualify for a $600 rebate. Apply Here
Healdsburg: Healdsburg Electric customers are eligible for up to a $700 rebate per account for E-bikes purchased online from retailers outside Healdsburg. Applications must be submitted within twelve months of purchase to qualify. Apply Here
Santa Clara: All Silicon Valley Power customers in Santa Clara are eligible for a 10% rebate on the total purchase cost of an e-bike, up to $300. Applicants must intend to use the E-bike for personal use, and resales are ineligible. Limit of one rebate per account, which must be submitted within 60 days of purchase. Apply Here
Santa Cruz: Individuals who are employed by the City of Santa Cruz or work in the Downtown Santa Cruz parking district are eligible for a $400 base rebate voucher or an $800 income qualified rebate voucher. Individuals must complete the rebate application before purchasing an E-bike at a participating bike shop. Apply Here
Colorado Statewide: Offers a $225 instant tax credit (2026) applied at the point of sale for all residents. Some cities, like Denver, offer additional rebates of up to ~$1,400, depending on income, which can stack. Apply Here
La Plata & Archuleta: La Plata Electric Association Customers are eligible for rebates of 25% of the price of the E-bike up to $100. Applicants are limited to a maximum combined rebate of $200 a year and must submit applications within 90 days of purchase. Apply Here
Gunnison: Gunnison County Electric Association Customers are eligible for a 25% rebate on the total cost, up to $150 per E-bike. Applicants are limited to a maximum rebate of $300 per account, and applications must be submitted within 90 days of purchase. Apply Here
Edwards: Edwards residents are eligible for a $200 rebate. Applicants must intend to use the purchased E-bike for transportation to and from work, or for any other trip that would normally be taken by car. Applications are limited to two per household and must be submitted within 6 months of purchase. Apply Here
Empire: Empire Electric Association Customers are eligible for a 25% rebate on the purchase price of an e-bike, up to $150. Rebates will be applied as a credit on your electric account, and applications must be completed within 90 days of purchase. Apply Here
Holy Cross Energy: Holy Cross Energy Customers are eligible for a $50 rebate when purchasing a new E-bike for running errands or commuting to work. Applicants are limited to two rebate applications per household. Apply Here
Statewide: Connecticut residents are eligible for a rebate of up to $1,250 for an e-bike. New this year, a lottery system is established to prioritize vouchers for income-qualified applicants, followed by residents of an Environmental Justice or Distressed Municipality. Vouchers will be awarded within each tier until funding is exceeded, and then a lottery will be utilized to distribute vouchers through each successive Tier until all vouchers are issued. Apply Here
Statewide: Qualifying Hawaii residents are eligible for a 20% rebate on the retail cost of an e-bike, up to $500. Applicants must be a current high school or university student, not own a traditional vehicle with four wheels, or be Low-Income in the state of Hawaii. Applications are limited to E-bikes with a top speed of no more than 28 mph and must be submitted within 1 year of purchase. Purchase must be made at a local retail store. Apply Here
Minnesota: Offers rebates of up to $750, depending on income, through a state tax-credit-style program. The program runs in limited application windows, and demand is extremely high. Apply Here
Eugene: Eugene Water & Electric Board Customers are eligible for a $300 E-bike rebate. Applicants are allowed two applications per household. Apply Here
Rhode Island: Offers 30% rebate up to $350, or 75% up to $750 for income-qualified residents through the Erika Niedowski program. Apply Here
Northeast areas & Central Vermont: Vermont Public Power Supply Authority Customers are eligible for a $100 rebate for the purchase of an e-bike from Vermont-based stores. Apply Here
Burlington: Burlington Electric Department Customers are eligible for a 25% rebate on the purchase price of an e-bike, up to $200. Applicants are limited to two rebates per commercial account, and applications must be submitted within 60 days of purchase. Apply Here
Statewide: The Washington State Department of Transportation offers the WE-Bike instant rebate program, providing $300 rebates for general applicants and up to $1,200 for income-qualified residents (typically ≤80% of area median income). The program is lottery-based, with applicants selected monthly.
