So I had a bit of a rough start with the tires on my Mod Bike Easy and side car. Did a review and Mike reached out to me and helped me through my troubles. He suggested the Tannus inserts because I am telling you I was going through inner tube on the roads where I live. Between glass and sticker bud seeds in the tire it was getting super frustrating. I purchased the inserts for all three tires and they arrived at my house with 2 or 3 days. Bought the inner tubes that were recommended (definitely have to size down for the bike tires it was 24x2.4 and for the side car tire 20x2.4 so you can have the inner tube already available if you are thinking about purchasing) and I followed the instructions on the video. The only thing I did differently is inflat the old inner tube in each tire and draw a line for the excess material that needed cutting. I cut the excess placed them in my tires, and had them back on the bike within an hour. So this can be a DIY or you can have some one put them on for you. I took the bike out for some adjustments 35 psi worked well for me, I had no puncture and rode 34 miles that same day with Leo the Aussiedoodle lol!
Wow, Letosa, what a turnaround! Glass and sticker seeds are brutal on tires, so we're glad Mike got you set up with the Tannus Armour inserts before it wore you down completely. Love that you DIY'd the install using the old tube as a cutting guide, that's a great trick, and getting them back on in under an hour is no small feat. Sounds like 35 psi is your sweet spot, and 34 punture-free miles with Leo along for the ride is the best kind of proof. Thanks for hanging in there and for being part of the MOD family!

Having a rear flat is zero fun! That’s why I opted for Yannis armor, and so far, so good!
Thanks, Debí! Yannis Armor is definitely a smart choice — glad it’s keeping those flats at bay so you can enjoy your rides worry-free.

Was in the shop to fix a flat caused by Austin’s ‘pristine' (not) bike lanes. Mike mentioned the Tannus Armour addition for protection of my tube, took his advice, haven’t had a flat sense. AGA…living the Mod Life 🚲

The tannus armour gives me piece of mind that I could ride home even if I got a flat, which these should prevent in most cases. However, they also make the tires feel extra full and bouncy, so if you like that kind of feeling on your bike this is a good choice.
Thanks for the feedback, Kit! We’re glad the Tannus Armour is giving you that peace of mind for those long rides—it’s always good to know you’ve got a backup in case of a flat. Enjoy that bouncy feel and let us know if there’s anything else you need!

I like that this gives me extra protection. I was researching the reviews on this and people love it. It’s seems like it’s difficult to install so I’m so glad Mod bikes was able to do that for me.
Glad to hear you’re happy with the added protection, Patrick! We’re always happy to help with the trickier installs—enjoy the ride!
