Shipping policy

Delivery estimates are made in good faith but are subject to delay due to government restrictions, supplier delays, fires, strikes, global pandemics, or other causes beyond our control.

General Shipping information

1. All orders are usually processed within 2–3 business days.
2. In-stock orders typically ship within 3 days.
3. Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or holidays.
4. A shipping confirmation email with a tracking number will be sent once the order has shipped.
5. During periods of high order volume, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional transit days for delivery. We will contact you via email or telephone in case of significant delays.
6. A recipient’s signature is required upon delivery of all bike shipments.
7. Self-pick-up is available at our Austin location for no additional charge.
   

Continental US

1. All orders over $99 are eligible for free shipping within the lower 48 states of the United States.
2. Orders under $99 within the lower 48 states will incur a fixed shipping fee of $19.
3. Fully Assembled Delivery ($399): For an additional fee, you can have your bike shipped fully assembled and ready to ride. This option ensures professional assembly, secure packaging, and minimal setup upon arrival.

Non-Continental & International

Shipping fees

1. MOD BIKES is not responsible for Non-Continental & Internationall shipping costs, fees, taxes, or duties associated with orders, returns, repairs, or warranty services.
2. Customers who relocate outside of the Continental U.S. after purchasing locally are responsible for all Non-Continental & international shipping fees associated with repairs, returns, or warranty services.

Canada

1. Orders over $1,499 qualify for free shipping to Canada.
2. Orders under $1,499 will incur a flat shipping fee of $19.
3. Duties & Taxes: International shipments to Canada are subject to applicable duties, taxes, and regulations. These fees are calculated at checkout and automatically included in your shipping charges.
4. Customs & Delivery: All shipments to Canada are sent DDP (Delivery Duty Paid). This means we handle customs clearance, and your order will be delivered straight to your doorstep without any additional steps on your end.

Hawaii and Alaska

1. Order Placement: Orders can be placed online as usual.
2. Shipping Quote: Our team will calculate a competitive shipping quote based on your provided address.
3. Approval Process: You’ll be contacted to review and approve the shipping quote before your order is shipped.
4. Order Cancellation: If the shipping quote is not approved, your order can be canceled for a full refund.

International Orders (Excluding Canada)

1. Flat Shipping Fee for Orders Containing an Electric Bike:

   All orders that contain an electric bike are shipped internationally (excluding Canada) for a flat fee of $799. This fee includes DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) shipping to your doorstep, covering shipping, duties, and taxes.

2. Shipping for Orders Without an Electric Bike:

   For orders that do not contain an electric bike, shipping, duties, and taxes will be calculated and collected at checkout. These orders will also be shipped DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) to your doorstep, ensuring a hassle-free delivery.

3. Customs & Delivery: All international shipments are sent DDP (Delivery Duty Paid). We handle customs clearance, ensuring your order is delivered straight to your doorstep with no additional steps required.
4. Delivery Timeline: International orders (excluding Canada) may take 60 - 120 days for delivery.
