We stand behind our products and the quality we’re known for. If something doesn’t meet your expectations, we aim to make the return process clear, fair, and as easy as possible.

We value your trust, and that's why if it's not the perfect fit, exchange or return it for a full refund* — you only cover the return shipping cost.

Hassle-Free Returns or Exchanges:
We’ll provide a return label and even arrange a pickup for your convenience.
Once the bike arrives back at our warehouse, we’ll inspect it, process your refund or exchange promptly.

Return policy

General Return Information

1. Proof of purchase – All eligible returns and exchanges require proof of purchase (order number/receipt) and must be tied to an order placed directly with MOD BIKES.
2. Order cancellations – Free cancellations are available any time before you receive a shipping confirmation. Once you receive a shipping confirmation, the order is considered shipped and cancellation is no longer free.
3. Return & exchange window – Returns and exchanges must be requested within 14 days of the delivery date (the day you receive your order). We do not accept returns or exchanges after this period.
4. Outbound shipping fees – Outbound shipping fees paid at checkout (if any) are non-refundable.

Return Shipping Costs & Labels

1. Return shipping responsibility – If an order is returned, exchanged, or refused after it has shipped, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
2. Return shipping cost – Return shipping costs are 10% of the total order value, with a minimum of $19.
3. Return label & pickup – We will provide a return label and schedule a pickup (E-bikes only) . Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund once the returned items are received and inspected.
4. Return label validity – Return labels are valid for 7 days. If the item is not shipped within that timeframe, the return will be canceled and may no longer be eligible for return.
5. Outside Continental U.S. – Orders shipped outside of the continental U.S. may incur higher return shipping costs than the 10% estimate.
6. Brokerage, taxes, and duties – MOD BIKES is not responsible for any brokerage fees, taxes, or duties related to returns, repairs, or warranty services.

Condition & Packaging Requirements

1. Secure packaging – Customers are responsible for securely packing all items being returned.
2. E-bike packaging – Electric bikes must be returned in the original box and original packing materials, packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
3. Like-new condition – All returned items must be in like-new condition, with no damage, and include all original parts and included accessories.
4. Mileage limit – Electric bikes must have less than 20 miles at the time of return.
5. Deductions & restocking fee – If a return shows damage from heavy use, high mileage, improper packaging, or missing items, we may deduct repair costs and/or a 25% restocking fee from the refund.
6. Refused returns – We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product has significant damage.

Final Sale Items

Not eligible for return/exchange – The following are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges:

• Helmets
• Child seats
• Refurbished / certified used items
• Clearance / open box items
• International orders (excluding Canada)
• Any other items marked final sale

Shipping Damage Claims

1. Reporting window – Any damage claims must be reported to support@mod-bikes.com within 48 hours of delivery.
2. Required documentation – Please include photos/video of the packaging and the product so we can assist.

Inspection & Refund Timing

1. Inspection Processing timeline – Please allow up to 14 days from delivery of the returned item for inspection and processing.
2. Refund timeline – If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method. Shipping costs, repair costs, restocking fees, and any other applicable deductions will be deducted from the refund amount. Refunds may take up to 14 days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
