Letosa Anderson (San Diego, CA, US) I couldn't wait to put the mod dual battery kit on my bike. I thought about it for a while and decided to go for it and I am so glad I did. The extra umph it gives when I am going up the hills with my 60lb puppy passenger is amazing. We use yo get abt 8-9.3mph going up big hill now im getting between 10 and 11 on those same hills so 5hat was a plus. I gone round trip 38 miles and still had 74% left on the battery. I use both batteries while getting to the bikeway which 4 miles from my house and then ride the bikeway for about 15 miles up it and back. During the 30 miles I turn off one battery and then going back home I turn the other back on.
The setup and attachments was somewhat easy it took me around 45 to 55 mins I believe but I was also recording it as I went so thats why it took a little longer than the how to guide says. I pretty much followed the guide step by step and everything went on easy peesy no real issues. I did have to move my water bottle holder on the other side but again that was not a major issue and it still stays in place the whole ride. I dont think I have any real cons to het the extra battery. Its priced accordingly and pretty much the same amount for other batteries but Mod Bike at least already though about you adding an additional bike it already pretrial holes and provided mounting screws so 10 out of 10 mod bike on the design!
We love a review with real numbers in it, Letosa! Watching your hill climbs jump from the 8-9mph range up to 10-11mph with the Dual Battery Kit installed (and a 60lb puppy on board, no less) tells us exactly what this upgrade is meant to do. Getting 38 miles in with 74% battery left is a great testament to how well the two-battery swap strategy works. Glad the install came together in under an hour too — that's the design working as intended. Welcome to the dual-battery life, and thanks for riding with the MOD family!

Richard Loera (Las Vegas, NV, US) Very easy to install. Took about 15-20 minutes have it ready to go. Doubled my range and riding time. Hardest part was breaking the screws loose on the mounting points on the bike (assuming it was because of the thread lock on the screw
