Lumos Ultra Helmet

This helmet serves two functions. Protection obviously, but also it helps me to be seen. So I purchased the green. The lights are awesome also. Plus, it is so comfortable to wear. I do wish it had a decent visor tho.

I really like it. I like the ease of snapping it closed. the adjustment in the rear is awsome I really cant say enough.BUT the extra what yu call it is a waste of material it doesnot communicate with the helmet (Must have been an afterthought.

Safety first is the attitude behind the always awkward looking bike helmet. The Lumos takes it a step further with a white headlight, meant do others can see you, not really a functional, directional flashlight. But the stars of the show are the rear lights. Red left and right lights act as turn signals activated by a thumb switch attached to the left handlebar. I admit I feel safer using my turn indicator, especially at night with traffic behind me. The red lights blink orange when indicating a pending turn. The rubber cover over the recharge input is frequently difficult to open. If there’s a trick to it, I haven’t figured it out. Otherwise, that could be improved. Love this helmet!

I really feel safe with this helmet. Glad it's a USB-C charger so easy to find a compatible chord. The turn signal was a really nice surprise that I didn't realize I was going to like but now that I have it, I wouldn't go without. Great product and well-priced!
