MOD Berlin 2 (Legacy)

I truly love my MOD Bikes experience. The staff has been very friendly and the bike itself has far exceeded my expectation. In the first two weeks, I've already ridden 100 miles and expect to add many, many more in the months to come.

I particularly appreciated having the opportunity to customize my bike with new handlebar paddles, saddle bag, lock and helmet. I wasn't sure at the time, but they have made a huge difference in my experience out in the field -- I couldn't imagine going back to a U-lock or putting all my items in a backpack again.

Further, sales staff helped me to navigate the City of Austin e-bike rebate process, showed me how to turn on the headlights (yep, I was really that new to the world of e-bikes), and gave me a neat tool to sync up with my electric helmet to add flashing indicator lights. Even with customization, my e-bike cost me the same amount as my analog bike did back in 2005 (after the rebate)! I couldn't be happier and I couldn't recommend MOD Bike more strongly.

I hadn't ridden a bike in over 40 years. My friend suggested an e bike to get to work - 16 miles rt. I borrowed hers for 2 weeks and realized I loved it, even in Austin in July. I bought one and 9 months later I hit the 1,000 mile mark! I am so pleased that I bought local. I've taken my Berlin in a couple of times (remember it has been 40 years!) and it is so easy/convenient to get fixed. I am so glad I didn't order online. I ♥️ my bike. Thank you Mod Bikes.

Bike is great, light enough to ride without the battery if necessary but powerful enough to feel comfortable on the road when the bike lane ends. Already put 150 miles on it in the first few weeks because I can’t stay off it.

I did a lot of research before getting this bike and the the results have not disappointed. I use the bike mainly to ride the three miles to and from work on some of Waco’s less-than-well-paved roads. But thanks to the Berlin, my rides have been smoother than expected, and if I’m tired after a long day, the extra help I get from the bike is perfect.
