Hey y'all!
Did you know that you can get some sweet cash back just for buying an electric bike? That's right, rebates are financial incentives sponsored by your state or county that reward you for making the switch to an eco-friendly ride. Check out the list below and see if your neck of the woods qualifies for a rebate. 

Texas

Austin: Austin Energy Customers are eligible for up to a $600 rebate for the purchase of an E-bike. Applications must be submitted within 60 days of purchase. Applicants are also eligible for a $800 Fleet Rebate if purchasing between five and twenty five E-bikes. Apply Here

California

Alameda: Alameda Municipal Power residents can get a rebate of $300 on e-bikes purchased online or in-store. Alameda Municipal Power customers who are enrolled in the Energy Assistance Program qualify for a $600 rebate. Apply Here

Healdsburg: Healdsburg Electric customers are eligible for up to $300 rebate per account for E-bikes purchased online from retailers outside of Healdsburg. Applications must be submitted within twelve months of purchase to quality. Apply Here

Santa Clara: All Silicon Valley Power customers in Santa Clara are eligible for a rebate of 10% of the total purchase cost of the e-bike up to $300. Applicants must intend to use the E-bike for personal use and resales are ineligible. Limit of one rebate per account which must be submitted within 60 days of purchase. Apply Here

Santa Cruz: Individuals who are employed by the City of Santa Cruz or work in the Downtown Santa Cruz parking district are eligible for a $400 base rebate voucher or an $800 income qualified rebate voucher. Individuals must fill out the rebate application prior to purchasing an E-bike at a participating bike shop retailer. Apply Here

Colorado

La Plata & Archuleta: La Plata Electric Association Customers are eligible for rebates of 25% of the price of the E-bike up to $150. Applicants are limited to a maximum combined rebate of $300 a year and must submit applications within 90 days of purchase. Apply Here

Avon: Residents of Avon are eligible for a rebate of $200 for e-bikes purchased online. Applicants must intend to replace trips taken with a car with E-bike purchase. Applicants are limited to two rebates per household and applications must be submitted within 6 months of purchase. Apply Here

Gunnison: Gunnison County Electric Association Customers are eligible for a 25% of total cost rebate up to $150 per E-bike. Applicants are limited to a maximum rebate of $300 per account and applications must be submitted within 90 days of purchase. Apply Here

Edwards: Edwards residents are eligible for a $200 rebate. Applicants must intend to use the purchased E-bike for transportation to and from work or any other trip that normally would have been taken by a car. Applications are limited to two per household and must be submitted within 6 months of purchase. Apply Here

Empire: Empire Electric Association Customers are eligible for a 25% of purchase price E-bike rebate up to $150. Rebates will be applied as a credit on your electric account and applications must be completed within 90 days of purchase. Apply Here

Highline Electric: Highline Electric Customers are eligible for a 25% of purchase price E-bike rebate up to $150. All applications must submit receipts of purchase within 90 days of purchase. Apply Here

Holy Cross Energy: Holy Cross Energy Customers are eligible for a $50 rebate when purchasing a new E-bike for running errands or commuting to work. Applicants are limited to two rebate applications per household. Apply Here

Yampa Valley Electric: Yampa Valley Electric Customers are eligible for a 25% of purchase price E-bike rebate up to $150. Rebate is issued as a credit on your electric account. Applications must be submitted within 120 days of purchase. Apply Here

Maine

South Portland: Residents of South Portland who qualify for the Electrify Everything Rebate can receive a $300 rebate for the purchase of an e-bike and $500 for a cargo e-bike. Applicants are limited to two rebates per household. Apply Here

Vermont

Northeast areas & Central Vermont: Vermont Public Power Supply Authority Customers are eligible for a $100 rebate for the purchase of an e-bike from Vermont-based stores. Apply Here

Burlington: Burlington Electric Department Customers are eligible for a 25% of purchase price e-bike rebate up to $200. Applicants are limited to two rebates per commercial account and applications must be submitted within 60 days of purchase. Apply Here

Connecticut

Statewide: Residents of Connecticut are eligible for a $500 e-bike rebate at Connecticut-based retailers for e-bikes under the purchase price of $3,000. Apply Here

Canada

Alberta: Alberta residents are eligible for a $500 e-bike rebate for your scrapped vehicle within 30 days of purchase. Apply Here

Ohio

Columbus: Qualifying Columbus residents can apply for the Columbus E-bike Incentive Pilot Program. Incentive amounts will depend on income level and E-bikes must be purchased from a local bike shop in Columbus.  Apply Here

Hawaii

Statewide: Qualifying Hawaii residents are eligible for a 20% of retail cost e-bike rebate up to $500. Applicants must be a current high school or university student, not own a traditional vehicle with four wheels or be Low-Income in the state of Hawaii. Applications are limited to E-bikes with a top speed no higher than 28 mph and must be submitted within a year of purchase. Purchase must be made at a local retail store. Apply Here

Oregon

Eugene: Eugene Water & Electric Board Customers are eligible for a $300 E-bike rebate. Applicants are allowed two applications per household. Apply Here

Iowa

Eastern Iowa Light & Power Cooperative: Eastern Iowa Light and Power Cooperative Customers are eligible for a 25% of purchase price e-bike rebate up to $150. Applicants must provide a sales receipt showing the model number and proof of payment. Applications must be submitted within 180 days of purchase. Apply Here

Washington

Statewide: Washington residents 16 years and older are eligible for e-bike rebates of up to $1,200. Applicants in households earning below 80% of the country area median are eligible for the $1,200 rebate while everyone else is eligible for a $300 rebate. Only one rebate application is allowed per household. E-bike must be purchased from a local E-bike store. Apply Here
